Adult Therapy

Individual therapy offers a safe and compassionate space for clients to explore any issues that they face. Through therapy, clients can expect to learn to identify patterns in thoughts and behavior, develop new strategies to cope with life’s challenges, and heal from difficult or traumatic experiences. Emily specializes in treating adults facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety/depression, mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, and much more.

Emily utilizes a pscyho-dynamic and relational approach, incorporating evidence based treatment modalities including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and mindfulness/mind-body connection.

Emily works with clients to identify goals and areas of needed improvement, and guides clients in exploring ways to improve relationships, self-image, and motivation.

Child, Teen & Family Therapy

Therapy for children and teens includes both one-on-one sessions and family support. Emily utilizes play therapy, games, and creative interventions to assist younger children in identifying and expressing emotions, managing challenging behaviors, and developing healthy social skills. Teen therapy includes both talk therapy, as well as art and creative interventions. Emily has experience treating a variety of issues teens face including anxiety/depression, academic struggles, family conflict, and issues relating to identity and sexuality.

Family therapy is additionally available to assist families in improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, and reducing conflict. Emily creates a safe and confidential space for children and teens to express their struggles, while also keeping parents involved through parenting support and education.
